I am currently working as a PhD candidate at Simulated Planetary Interior Lab (Spinlab) at the University of California, Los Angeles, under Prof. Jonathan Aurnou.
We are interested in the MHD fluid dynamics in planetary liquid cores and dynamos. We are currently working on the experimental investigation of the heat and momentum transfer in liquid gallium magnetoconvection, complemented with theoretical and numerical analyses. As part of my thesis, this work would further our understanding of the convection systems with rotation and magnetic fields.
